My sources of inspiration are native and ancient cultures, nature, and the mystical side of mathematics. I spent years exploring a variety of different mediums before settling on metal. I enjoy using my hands to express my visions and feelings, transforming cold metal – through almost alchemical processes using fire, earth, air, water, and spirit -- into distinctive and striking wearable art.

Although I employ a wide range of techniques, I prefer fold forming, reticulation, acid etching, and fusing. Rather than imposing a shape on the metal, I have developed -- through trial and error -- an understanding of the inherent qualities and boundaries of my materials, allowing me to create unique and personal pieces that seem to be born from the metal itself.

I do not attempt to smooth over the evidence of my personal touch through “overfinishing.” Each piece is hand made in its entirety and as such has unique variations. My work frequently includes high karat gold fused to silver accented by a variety
