Artists Statement 2009
One must take their craft seriously but not themselves .Because in the end it’s just a pair of earrings and what we make is rather frivolous when looked at in relationship to the greater universe .God has given us different gifts and some of us are here to work with our hands and to make objects .We should then render what we craft with the up most of care .For this is what we leave behind .It would be nice to hear someone say, “How beautiful, I wonder who made this”?
